Kaat doesn't wait for inspiration — she finds it in what others overlook. Old milk cartons become printing plates. The worn and the discarded become the foundation of something new. She draws, carves, inks, and prints her way through the world, leaving traces that feel both ancient and entirely her own.
Crayons and watercolour paint are her constant companions. Together they carry her love of texture, of imperfection, of the way a line made by hand carries something a perfect line never could.
At the heart of Kaat's practice is a reverence for nature and an insistence on slowness. She believes in paying attention — to the plant at the window, to the light changing, to the quiet that most of us rush past. It is exactly that quality that the book Inner Garden needed. And found.

Eva shapes the voice and vision of Unfold. She finds the thread between what a book wants to say and how the world needs to hear it — crafting the words that carry the work forward, from the first spark of concept to the final invitation to the reader.
Her work is grounded in the belief that good strategy and good storytelling are the same thing: both ask you to listen before you speak.
Hellen Tielemans
Author & Creative Director
Hellen is the heart of Unfold. As the author and creative director, she holds the vision of what these books are and what they can do — guiding readers inward, page by page, through themes that ask something real of them.
She works from a deep trust in the creative process — that when we slow down and pay attention, something true wants to emerge. Unfold is the space she built for exactly that.
Each book she writes is an invitation: to unfold, to explore, to become a little more yourself.
